Immigration and Secure Borders - Legal immigration, and the full integration of legal immigrants into our society has been the life-blood of our great nation for over two hundred years.

The motto, E Pluribus Unum, Out of Many, One, was chosen for a good reason.  We need to make it possible for those who want to work here to do that legally, instead of illegally.  We need to require those who want to become citizens to learn English and adopt our way of life.  It is wrong that infants born to people here illegally automatically become citizens. This starts with securing our borders now! John Salazar has voted against securing our border with Mexico.

People who are here illegally should be escorted to the border and either be issued a work visa or sent home. No amnesty!

Without secure borders, we do not have National sovereignty. In addition to the huge negative economic impact caused by illegal aliens, the porous border allows easy access for terrorists. This is a national security threat.
